Our Mission
Washington Dragon Boat Association (WDBA) is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Tacoma, Washington. WDBA is committed to promoting local, regional, national and international amateur dragon boating participation and competition. In celebration of the cultural diversity of Washington and the Pacific Northwest, WDBA will present such other activities that foster community involvement and cross cultural awareness and understanding.

On Sundays new paddlers are invited to join the Washington Dragon Boat Association on the water. No paddling experience is required. We provide paddles, life jackets, boats, training--and fun! Bring dry clothes and bottled water. The first 3 practices are free. Sundays, 3:30 p.m., near Johnny's Dock Restaurant & Marina. No pre-registration needed. No experience required. We provide paddles, life jackets, coaching, steering, boats and FUN!
New paddlers may attend any of our practices at any locations.
Bring a change of dry clothes, comfortable shoes (tennis shoes work great) and bottled water to the practice.
